This week flew by. We did several Beyond the Edge shows and we were incredibly excited to see (and carry) each other again. It’s been a couple of months since we last performed and already two years since we auditioned, so probably due to all of those nostalgic feelings we watched our old rehearsal videos back on an old TV backstage in between shows. Let’s say we played in a very good mood afterwards haha.

It’s quite difficult to reflect on an entire week, but there was dinner with Lenny, Erica and Dario on Saturday. On Sunday there was a walk with our dog with my mother and sister and afterwards (three!) coffees with Samuel and Ani in town. I woke up at 4 am today and couldn’t sleep anymore, I think I know what the culprit was…

Food this week was really good. Lenny and I found a great sourdough bakery in town and have been making the best grilled sandwiches.
During the tour of BTE, the theater spoiled us with really great pumpkin and cauliflower soup and risotto.
Erica en Dario made pinsas with different toppings, so yum.

Last week I read Mice of Men by John Steinbeck, it’s a very short book so I read it in one day. I find Steinbeck a very phenomenal writer and so far East of Eden by him might be the greatest book I’ve ever read. I think about it everyday.
Right now I’m halfway through reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and I have complete opposite feelings towards this book, I dislike it, a lot. Oh well.

Currently in the process of preparing my Cluster Creations workshop this Saturday. The workshop is three hours long so there’s a lot to fill. I think writing this journal entry is me slightlyyyyyy procrastinating. Just slightly.
